"On Saturday, early in the morning, I was using my washing machine and when
it began to drain, water came into my bathtub. Having used them before, I
called ******* Co. The technician who had come to my home in the past
apparently was no longer with the company and the man who took his place was
abusive on the phone. Feeling that perhaps it was very early, and he might
hve been disturbed by my call, I explained my problem and he agreed to come.
This was the beginning a a terrible experience in which he belittled me for
being a handicapped senior citizen, commented on the modesty of my home and
after working through the bathub drain left. As he was pulling out of the
driveway, I noticed the toilet would not flush and called his cellphone not
even a full minute after his departure to ask him to come back. He told me
he was in Sudbury and left me waiting several hours before he came back and
told me he should have done the main drain which I told him to do since I
could not do anything else. After about an hour of noise, swearing, and
general abuse, he left saying the job was a "nightmare" and would come back
on Monday,leaving me a handicapped senior citizen with a handicapped wife in
the worst muddy mess unable to use our plumbing for the weekend.

At that point, I felt I should call someone else, and I saw your ad in the
yellow pages, and called. Within a few minutes, I received a return call
from Ken ( I hope I have the name right) and he was on a cell phone in a bad
area. He referred the call to Eric who listened to my tale of woe and said
he would get his truck and come to help me. A short time later, he arrived
and assured me he would fix the problem. He worked and was joined in a
little while by Ken and they repaired the problem efficiently and with no
further damage to my home. I am recovering from a mild heart attack (if
there is such a thing as mild) and their concern for me and my wife being
able to stay in our home was comforting and we were very grateful for their
help and consideration. I can not say enough good things about Eric who is
mild mannered, kind, and extremely efficient. In a humorous way, I told
your men I loved them and in a way I do. Senior citizens are often prey for
vultures like the man from ****** Co. who was trying to sell me some kind of
pipe relining and therefore would not fix the problem Eric fixed with such
professionalism, so I love Eric, Ken and your whole organization for
treating me with respect, and kindness. When your family has grown up and
gone, and all that is left is two handicapped old people with a little dog
as their family, it's nice when some one you never met before cares about
you.
